ILSI SEA and the ILSI RSI, in collaboration with FAO, organized a seminar and workshop on Microbial Risk Assessment (MRA) in Manila, Philippines, that focused on the definition, principles, and methods of risk assessment to facilitate food safety decision-making. Special considerations for MRA, as well as state-of-the-science MRA methods were discussed. The meeting was attended by invited government officials and scientists involved in the development and regulation of food control systems and food safety standards.
